What is Cycling Analysis?

Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist, a dedicated triathlete, or a runner looking to add cross‑training to your routine, your time on the bike should feel strong, efficient, and injury‑free. Our Cycling Assessment is designed specifically for endurance athletes who want to improve performance while protecting their bodies from unnecessary strain.

What the Assessment Includes:

1. Detailed Performance & Injury History: Before getting moving in this assessment, we really want to take the time to get to know and understand you. Without acknowledgement of where you have been and where you want to go, we can’t focus the right energy and emphasis on the assessment. We will examine what you have been through both as a person and as a cyclist to delve deeper within our exam to highlight trouble areas and to keep an eye on areas of improvement based on our discussion.

2. Comprehensive Movement & Mobility Screening:  We then move onto the physical aspect by one of our licensed physical therapists by evaluating your mobility, stability, and movement patterns off the bike. This helps identify limitations that may be affecting your comfort or power output.

3. On‑Bike Position & Technique Analysis:  Using your own bike and our trainer setup, we assess your posture, pedaling mechanics, joint angles, and overall fit. The goal is to find a position to supports both performance and long‑term durability while connecting what we found in the movement screening

4. Injury Risk & Pain Point Evaluation:  If you’re dealing with discomfort whether it’s knee pain, low‑back tightness, saddle issues, or anything else, we’ll pinpoint the root cause and address it directly.

5. Complete Report of Findings and Follow Up Plan Creation:  After this Cycling Performance Assessment, you’ll come back to receive a detailed report and explanation of findings to determine your next steps to better performance or pain free riding. It will delve into what is going well and what needs improvement. We will break down the detailed next best steps to take these issues as efficiently and effectively as possible. There is no commitment to move forward with us from this point, but we will provide you with options to receive accountability, support, and help you shortcut success with our programs and staff so you can just focus on enjoying your rides more.
